Giriş

Lasius glom is an extinct fossil ant species that lived during the Middle Eocene epoch, approximately 56-34 million years ago. It was discovered in the Kishenehn Formation in what is now Montana, USA. Only male specimens have been found preserved as compression fossils, making this species known only from ancient fossil remains. The specimens are dark brown in coloration. This ant belongs to the Lasius genus, which includes many common living species like Lasius niger and Lasius neoniger.
