Giriş

Emplastus dubius is an extinct ant species from the Dolichoderinae subfamily, known only from fossil specimens preserved in Early Miocene amber from Radoboj, Croatia . This species lived approximately 16-23 million years ago during the Miocene epoch. The queen measured 7.5mm in total body length, with a head slightly longer than wide, a robust mesosoma, and an oval gaster . The species name 'dubius' means 'uncertain' in Latin, reflecting the taxonomic uncertainty surrounding its classification . As a fossil species, no living specimens exist, and it cannot be kept in captivity.
