Giriş

Anochetus corayi is an extinct trap-jaw ant species known only from a single fossil queen preserved in Dominican amber. Described by Baroni Urbani in 1980,this species dates to the Miocene epoch, approximately 17 million years ago . The specimen belongs to the mayri species group within the genus Anochetus . As an extinct species, it exists only as a fossil record and cannot be kept in captivity.
