紹介
Bradoponera electrina is an extinct ant species known only from a single worker preserved in Baltic amber from the Late Eocene epoch, approximately 44 million years ago. The worker measures 3.5mm in body length and belongs to the subfamily Proceratiinae, tribe Proceratiini. This species was described in 2003 by De Andrade and Baroni Urbani based on a single specimen. Based on the amber deposits where it's found (Gulf of Gdańsk, Bitterfeld, Jutland, Rovno), this species lived in what were then warm, forested environments in Europe. The genus Bradoponera was most likely arboreal, nesting in natural cavities and detritus accumulated on epiphytes in ancient forest canopies .
