Pendahuluan
Leucotaphus donisthorpei is an extinct ant species from the Oligocene epoch, approximately 34-23 million years ago. It was described from fossil specimens found in the Insect Limestone deposits on the Isle of Wight, UK. Only male specimens have been documented, measuring 4.0-4.5mm in body length. The species belongs to the subfamily Formicinae and may actually belong to the genus Lasius rather than Leucotaphus according to more recent research . This is a fossil species - it cannot be kept and no living care information exists.
