Einleitung
Pachycondyla conservata is an extinct ant species known only from fossil specimens in Eocene amber, about 40-56 million years old. It was described in 2009 from Rovno amber in Ukraine, with additional records from Baltic and Bitterfeld ambers . Males had a body length of 2.4 mm, with large oval eyes and a triangular petiole . This species cannot be kept in captivity as it is extinct.
